about Calix is a satyr who is associated with nature and wilderness. They are a dedicated member of the Council of the Cloven Elders, and when not working, they're a very kind and sociable person.

biography
Calix was born a companion to Dionysus and as a son to a nymph at camp half blood and has lived at camp since their birth. Calix resides as a resident in cabin twelve under Dionysus, as Satyrs' are companions to Dionysus. He had a good upbringing as a child, playing in the forests and chasing around playing tag with his companions. as a child they always wished to help out in the woods more than they already did, and looked up greatly to the council of cloven elders, making it a mission to prove his strength to them. this often resulted in injury, as they were quite reckless and naive, doing whatever they were told in belief that it would convince the council to let them join.currently, at age fifteen, Calix is a member of the council of cloven elders. Calix was granted their license to search for demigods after they worked hard to help revive a dying patch of forest in the north woods, with the support of a nymph named Penelope. They search for demigods eagerly to help bring them to camp. Even when given little information, they're quick to be resourceful and organized with it. Calix is often spotted hiking in the woods and patrolling the wildlife, or helping in the strawberry fields and making sure each time is a fruitful harvest without damaging the bushes. Calix is a sociable and friendly, happy to chat with anyone about anything with an upbeat attitude and an open-mind.

Calixs' weapon consists a thyrsus; a staff made of fennel wood, entwined with ivy, and topped with a pine cone. the thyrsus can be used to impale opponents. this weapon can be alternated between a reed flute when given the command. the reed pipes are to induce Calixs' magic when played. this reed flute is made of fennel wood with ivy engravings surrounding each pipe. Calix prefers to use the reed flutes' more, saving the thyrsus for larger battles and bigger threats.
combat description
during combat against Calix as they wield their thyrsus, they stay unpredictable and overwhelming, striking when the enemy stumbles and is caught off-guard in attempts for a more fatal blow with sudden and stabbing forces from afar, throwing the thyrsus. when using the reed flute, Calix takes on more quick and narrow movements, attempting to stay away from any blows so their focus can keep solely on the magic induced to aid their teammates in battle.
